San Gusmè is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Chianti and also one of the most authentic because it is not a traditional tourist destination. It is located in the district of Castelnuovo Berardenga, the Sienese part of the Chianti area. From here, there are many beautiful paths for walking or cycling.

In just twenty minutes by car you can easily reach the historical center of Siena. There are many other beautiful towns to visit from La Casaccia; the Val d'Orcia (Montalcino, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, etc), Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni or the cities of Arezzo and Florence.

For those who prefer to relax and pamper yourself, you can easily reach the incredible Spa of Rapolano Terme in 15 min by car. Also nearby are horseback riding centers, bike rentals and a children's adventure park.
