This vintage, even though does not have the strong body of 1995, reveals an excellent nose, very mild taste, and softness. Red berries, and liquorice please the mouth.

Was aged for 10 months in small and midium sized (up to 2000 litres) non tosted french oak barrels. 100% San Giovese grapes. The light colour
is typical of this vintage in Tuscany, and as a rule, we do not blend between different vintages. Only 9000 bottles of this wine have been produced.
